ABOUT

A voice and harpsichord major at UCSC, Sarah went on to explore world music in India and Japan and became fascinated with pop, jazz and world fusion.

Sarah was a finalist on the hit Indian show SAREGAMA with Sonu Nigam, Hariharan and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan as judges.

Sarah was the singer /co-writer of the song "Remembering the Future" for virtuoso guitarist Angel Romero’s jazz fusion album Remembering the Future produced by Bill Conti on RCA VICTOR.

She sang an indian style a capella intro for Grammy nominated jazz composer  Rob Mullins (Hubert Laws, The Crusaders, Diane Reeves) for his album "Dance for the New World" on Warner Bros. which went #1 in the UK.

Sarah won Best New Age Vocalist at the Los Angeles Music Awards with her debut CD Human produced and co-written by Rob Mullins. Human is a blend of East Indian, Pop, Jazz, Dance and R&B.

Her album Human debuted at #6 on the New Age Charts and aired on 168 radio stations in the US and Europe.

Sarah is currently performing Contemporary, Jazz and Top 40 music throughout the San Diego and North County area. She has performed at The Bridges Rancho Santa Fe, Eddie V's La Jolla, Eddie V's San Diego, 98 Bottles, The Maritime Museum, San Diego Airport Concert Series, The Abbey on Fifth Avenue, Grand Del Mar, Sheraton San Diego, "Jazz on Cedros" at Carruth Cellars, Pardon My French Bar Restaurant, The Omni Hotel and The Lafayette Hotel to name a few.
